There has never been a better time to install a solar energy system in your home or business than today: · California Cash Rebate: the state of California has initiated an ambitious and extensive solar rebate program to provide a cash rebate equaling 20-30% of the installed system. However, rebates are scheduled to be reduced with time: the sooner you install your system, the higher your rebate will be. · Federal Tax Deductions of 30% of Capital Cost offered additionally upon installation. With the rebate and the tax deduction half your capital cost is eliminated · Solar Home Loans are available from a number of lenders that will offset the cost of your system against your current electrical bill leaving you without any out-of-pocket expense. · Property Tax Exemptions benefit the owner with increased property value, but without a tax increase.

What DEB Solar Does for You
· DEB Solar will first make a visit to your home to assess your energy needs and locate the most efficient placement of your solar panels. · Our electrical engineering staff will determine the exact system for your site and then provide you with an estimate and proposal. · Upon acceptance of DEB’s contract, we will submit all forms required on your behalf: o CSI Reservation Request and NEMS Application o County Building Department permit o PG&E permit (separate from the CSI application) o HVLA Permit (for Hidden Valley Lake residents) · When CSI has sent the Confirmed Reservation Notice, and the building department has approved the permit, installation can proceed. · Our team of certified installers will install your system in as little as 2 days. · When the installation is complete, our engineering staff will inspect the components prior to the Finals inspections by the building department and PG&E to confirm that the system will operate within specifications. · Once the Building department and PG&E have signed off on the installation, our electrician will turn on your system and ….. · Congratulations! You are now a producer of electricity for use by other consumers all over the state of California!

What is “C.S.I.” and how does it work · CSI is the California Solar Initiative. Basically, CSI provides electrical consumers with a one-time cash incentive to install solar systems in their homes and businesses: The EPBB: Estimated Performance-Based Buydown · Consumers apply for the EPBB by submitting a ‘Reservation Request’ to CSI. · CSI then sends a ‘Confirmation and Incentive Claim’ form to the consumer. · Once the consumer receives the ‘Confirmation Notice’, the installation can proceed. · When the installation is operational, the consumer sends back the ‘Incentive Claim Form’ for approval, and the EPBB Cash Rebate is mailed within 2 weeks · You may choose to assign your rebate to DEB Solar to offset installation costs, or use it to reduce your loan payments · DEB will complete and submit all required documents on your behalf, and maintain a speedy timeline for completion of your project.

How Solar Works For YOU Solar Power, or Photovoltaic Power, is a simple and elegant technology that is increasingly efficient and affordable. A solar electric system is composed of a few major components:
With a “Grid-Tied” system, you are connected to the local utility grid which serves as the energy storage for the solar power you produce. When the sun shines, the PV panels are generating electricity literally turning your meter backward, banking an ‘energy credit’ for you. In the evening, when your PV panels aren’t generating, you can use the energy you banked during the day to offset your usage at night. The energy utility is required to credit you for the energy you produced at the rate at the time it was produced: you will be producing during peak, but consuming off-peak. By properly sizing your solar power system, you can zero-out your bill, and you won’t have an electric bill again for the life of the system, approximately 25 years!
